[Singapore] In the quiet of a Thursday morning, two sisters in their 50s walk into a bright, mirrored studio at The Centrepoint on Orchard Road. They wear matching black leggings and grip socks, settle onto reformer machines, and listen as their instructor guides them through slow, deliberate movements. Within moments, the room fills with controlled breathing and focused effort.
What started as a casual experiment a year ago has become a weekly ritual for the pair.
“At our age, we wanted something that builds core strength, flexibility, and posture without feeling intimidating,” says the older sister, Samantha Tan. “Pilates checks all the boxes.”
